and what does "hi" mean? :P
-
The newest topics go high on the board, as the most recent post.
Members use Hi, bump, up and some other odd expressions.
So, when you come back to the forum and click on "Show unread posts since last visit." the bumped post will be there,
meaning that you still want to exchange or that your offer is still valid.
These posts are usually deleted when a new reply or a new bump comes.
-
Unfortunately it only works if a small group of people know what bump means ;D

I really do not undersand still . Is it like trying to hightlght your post or something?

No. It's just like you open a new thread into a sub topic, and the thread is displayed on the recent topics (http://www.talkptc.com/index.php?action=forum) (check that "Last post", your latest post gets there). Then after some other days, your thread got "stale" or faded from recent topics (http://www.talkptc.com/index.php?action=forum), because someone else had posted a newer thread.
You can "awake" your thread, by simply updating it with simple post on that thread, like saying "hi", "ok", and as such. This way, your thread is updated with a new post, and the thread goes into recent topics (http://www.talkptc.com/index.php?action=forum) anymore.
Since the post is quite boring (it only contains "useless" message like that), that is why BUMP is only allowed once per day.
