Most people notice the problems with Credit Card payments with Alertpay but for the majority of the users not in the U.S like I am there are others. I cannot move the money to my bank account or user a credit card. I can only have my money sit there. Found out some extra reasoning why Alertpay is so messed up today on -Montreal Gazette Article (http://www.montrealgazette.com/business/Firm+alleged+provide+payments+questionable+goods/5764427/story.html) - and honestly this sucks but I hope they can pull through. I also wish PTC sites could find an alternative to replace Alertpay as Alertpay was the replacement for Paypal.
edit: Wanted to shortent he link cause it was long.

Very interesting article. Wonder if someone did the same about PP.
Possible, of course but hard, once PP has e-bay.
But this is just a matter of time.
I suppose that one day, not too far, world wide online banks will be just like local banks, that call us day and night offering ways to get your money ;D

I remember a time when Paypal took a lot of media fire and had some of the same problems, its what has made them the uptight company they are today.
There is another article that has a bit more insight-Other Article (http://expertscolumn.com/content/alertpay-affecting-businesses-worldwide) - that has information from Alertpay that was said on twitter and other facts I didnt know.

Another reason Alertpay is bad for PTCs....their fees.
They charge something like $0.49 + 6.9% to PTCs per purchase; much more than PayPal
Patel said Monday he expected AlertPay to have Visa and MasterCard processing back up this week or early next week.

It has been longer than that... :shoot scamf:

Yea its definitely been about a month and very true they have a huge fee price compared to paypal.

Now Alertpay's bank deposits and withdrawals (in USA) are down. It says "temporarily"...
It seems like this payment method is slowly dying from all their bank problems.
-
I couldnt even get it to say temporarily down. I just logged in and it said it could not do anything.

I don't understand that alertcard thing.
Say it is available for 48 countries but found no country list.
lack of info. Seems just a way to pay them more fees. ::yuk

The Alertpay card isn't so great. For USA, it is a prepaid debit card.
$3 per month fee
$2 per load fee (everytime you put money on it, you must pay them $2)
Plus a ton of other fees that make no sense
It won't be like PayPal's REAL debit card. It would be a better deal to just withdraw the money to your real debit card (a bank) and use it. That is assuming Alertpay fixes their Deposit/Withdraw, Credit Card, and periodic bank drops.
Just wondering, is it different in other countries? For me, USA, these are down: credit card and bank withdraw/deposit. Are those working for everyone else?
