Odesk is a site for freelance providers to work for interested buyers through a secure system.  You are guaranteed to be paid if you do hourly jobs and provide excellent service to the buyers.  To start working all you need to do is create your provider profile and portfolio with your skills and work history and some examples of your work.  After you've done that you will need to take the "Odesk Readiness Test" to begin working.  The test just helps you learn how the Odesk system works.  There are many more skills tests to take to prove to potential buyers that you can do the work.  Some of the job categories include:
