In task manager you can always go over to the process tab and go down to iexplore.exe or firefox.exe and click end process. That will terminate it for sure.
im gone again.......

It never worked for me, believe me, I tried.
goto processes.
find either firefox.exe or iexplore.exe right click and click on end process tree it will pop a an alert then press yes.

using end process doesn't always kill it so that why i use end process tree

Blacklist of Sites That Harm Your Computer - KingBux?
« Reply #14 on: February 29, 2008, 01:10:49 AM »
Hi.

I'm getting browser freezes when I'm logged in KingBux.

Are domain names with .BIZ or .INFO reliable? I'm not sure if they are free or paid for domains.

.biz and .info are paid for, but it doesnt necessarily mean that the site is reliable.

I use w98 and there is no problem on closing this stuff.
For xp users, I am sorry. Perhaps using procexp.exe (process explorer, sysinternals.com)
you would selectively terminate unwanted processes.
