Thats a great site I've joined it some time ago. With all the bux sites around it's hard getting refs for a site like that. Thats too bad people think bux sites can actually keep on paying for long.

wordlinx is a true definition of what a real PTC site is supposed to be and how it is suppose to operate ;)

this is why they are allowed to use paypal with no problems ;)

A very good example of PTC site.

Has the amount of ads on Wordlinx been a lot less for anyone else?  Even with those lower earnings ads, I still see less ads then I used to.
Linkgrand seems to be doing a lot better lately and clixsense, of course, it going steady.

Post by: PapaiMark on October 05, 2009, 01:29:20 AM
A lot less, yes, these last few 3 or 4 days only.
Here I have about 5-6¢/day. Before, 8 or 10.

A lot less is clixsense. Normally 6¢/day, I am having 2-4¢ in the last week.

Linkgrand is not worth for Brasil. Less than 8¢ / WEEK.

@tibo44
Looks like you are a newby.
Less than 10 cents / day is seldom seen in Wordlinks
Like clixsense, there are about 30000 ACTIVE members every day.
The ad is sold and release at any time.
If you are on line, you get it.
This is not a 1 visit / day site.

August Update

Those of you that follow developments here at WordLinx will have noticed we have implemented very few of the proposed improvements we scheduled earlier this year. Amongst other things, we were hoping to add a ten level downline system and forum. We believe that companies should be transparent, explaining anything that affects or could affect their customers, so this post is to bring you all up to date.

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago we were hit hard by a combination of two unrelated things; DDOS attacks and a massive amount of fraudulent orders. The orders were caught after the credits had been added to accounts and visitors had been delivered. This means our members were paid before the rightful owner was refunded and we suffered a loss. Instead of removing fraudulent credits from your accounts, we allowed you to keep them and ‘took the hit’ ourselves.

The system is now stable again and we’ve added several new security features to prevent this happening in future. However, we only have a finite amount of funds, and money spent on security is money that can’t be spent on new features. They’re still planned but depending on our income, they may be pushed back several months.

Many of you will have noticed fewer adverts recently. Although WordLinx relies on real advertisers for 90% of orders, we have been unable to run many of our own regular adverts due to cash restrictions created by the above. We apologise and ask for all members to give us time to recover and understand that we are doing everything we can to get things back on track. A good example of this was Friday’s Double Day, where we doubled any advertising order, encouraging both current and new advertisers to spend. We’ll be running another Double Day in the coming weeks. WordLinx has been online for many years (coming up to our 7th birthday!) and we’ll be here for many more, so please be patient while we work though this situation.

Our team is currently investing a great deal of time and money in a new project, MoreShare.com. This is a good thing for WordLinx users, as once that site is up and running it will provide additional revenue for further WordLinx developments. You can follow our progress with MoreShare here. We hope to launch the new site very soon.

I ignored the warning because it looks like the problem does not come from homepage or surf page.
Can be something in their blog or an ad already gone.
This is  one of the  vectors: *ptima227.ipq.co (* is "o") that google says that also infected talkptc.com

I think you have right :-bd

i did have the same problem with one meamber that have adverting her blog at my site for moths.

the only thing that was neaded to say my site was not safe was that she have a banner on my site and did put up a new banner on her blog to a site that must have a bad ad from a meamber  :)

so somtimes the most silly things says that site has malware even f it not come from that site is only a banner up to a site that has a bad banner lol :D

Malware warnings.

Over the last few days, many users have had malware warnings from our site. Obviously, WordLinx does not host any such software, so we started a full investigation.

We asked our host to run a full check over the site, but after scanning through all the files they said WordLinx was clean, which we’d also found.

However, piecing together members’ virus software reports, we discovered that our OpenX software (used to control the banners on our site) may have been allowing malware to be distributed through data from exterior sites. We therefore set OpenX only to allow banners from our site, which we thought had fixed the issue.

However, as the malware was using openx.net as an intermediary, the warnings continued as our pages use includes from the site. You can see Google’s report here and other OpenX users experiencing the same issue here.

We have now completely removed OpenX from our server and we are in the process of creating our own distribution software to display banners in future. All current site base banners have been removed until further notice. Any time remaining for users with current campaigns has been ‘frozen’ until the new system is setup.

Thank you to all our members for your patience and understanding while this issue was resolved. Special thanks all the members that sent us detailed reports, which helped us to discover the cause.
