Manage Site News Version 1.0 by fjSnippets
The Manage Site News addon was created to replace the existing news functionality on AuroraGPT scripts.
If you own a site that is running any versions of an AuroraGPT script you can now use this addon and have a better management of your news page.
Key Features
- Admin can add, edit or delete news items.
- Admin can edit fields, including the Date/Time stamp for any news item without having to go to the cpanel.
- Admin can categorize their news. For example, general communication, promotion, outage, etc
- Admin can sort by news item, title, date and category.
- Admin can easily navigate a long list of news without scrolling down a page forever.
- Site visitors can easily navigate your news items.
- No need to publicly display the full list of your news item when a snapshot of the most recent items will suffice.
- The code is commented so it is easy to modify for your own use.
Installation
All you have to do is upload a few files.
You should not require any database changes.
Once your payment has been received the files and installation instructions will be provided.
If you want FJ to do the installation then you will need to provide ftp access at a minimum.
I will have to charge $1.00 for the installation or in exchange you provide equivalent advertising credits.
This addon is currently installed on AuroraGPT.biz and is included with the AuroraGPT FJ Series 1 Version 1.0.8
