Title: Basic cheap host for blog?

I am looking to move my blog from Blogger to Wordpress, self-hosted with my own domain name (which I haven't yet bought). Please could someone suggest where to start in looking for hosting? I tried Google but then found a post on here which said a lot of reviews are fake so thought it best to as you good people. The blog currently gets very little traffic and I only want something cheap and cheerful for now while I see how much time I'm going to have to put into the blog.
What are your views on GTHost.com vps hosting solutions? Can I trust them?

Give GTHost.com cheap vps (https://gthost.com/virtual-private-servers/) a try. They use a Supermicro server blade on Intel Xeon, that is, we do not have “servers” i3, 5, i7, etc.
Servers with local storage keep all data on a local RAID1 to provide fault tolerance in case of hardware defects.

Lots of features, and I can afford to pay a year at a go. I signed up with GTHost.com vps host (https://gthost.com/vps) and everything went very smooth.
Efficient work, good staff, nice experience. They will take care of you, as they have me.

I have been using Profvds.com (https://profvds.com/) and also NetShop-isp.com.cy (https://netshop-isp.com.cy/) and I'm very happy with their vps services. Their servers, support and uptime are superb.
They are very good and reliable but recently it takes a lot of time to talk to a support representative via chat, i hope they fix that and they will be the best.
