Upgrading / purchasing referrals...
« on: March 17, 2008, 02:02:30 PM »
Is it worth it to purchase referrals on a site and / or upgrade to be given the random referrals from people signing up without a referral?

I've noticed that some of my sites allow upgrades for as little as $5.00 and promise to give you referrals and others have referral packages that you can buy (10 referrals for $8 or so)

Before I spend any money, I want to know if this is a good idea.

its a good idea as long as u are 100% shore that the site will not turn into a scam and that the owner is trustworthy. Before upgrading its better to see if u get any good benefits also it is better to check the earning per clicks, if a site has 100% referral earning but has clicks worth $0.001 dnt think there is any profit for u in such a deal, its a bad investment.

When investing remember to keep them low, less than $100 so that if the site turns into a scam u dnt feel any loss or anything.Remember investing in this industry is a gamble and u might lose money so be cautious.

i agree with ragnarok ;D

its a good idea as long as your sure about the site and you can earn more than the upgrade is going to cost you.
there is no way to tell how many random referal you will get. if its a new site you will get more referals than on a site that has been around for a long time.
most sites will offer a monthly upgrade you could try that first if your still not sure.

Going by the type of sites that offer random referals you should not be investing anywhere near $100

if your still not sure give us the name of the sites you are considering that would make it easier to tell

I was thinking about buying referrals at the OwensClickPlace...

I haven't really been into the PTC for very long.  But I really want to add some referrals to see how that will affect my earnings.  I don't seem to be having much luck getting people to sign up, though.

Hi, Shaunalynn.

Try promoting ProwlingPanther, it's a nice new program, with around 700 members, and you could get referrals for that PTC now.  ;)

hi shaunalynn owensclickplace is at least a trusted owner but the upgrade sux

you pay for the upgrade and you have a chance at random referals

basically you are paying $5 for every chance at a referal, no guarantee :'(

$5 per referal is ridiculous especially when you only get 20% of what they make
