How do you start and run a legitimate PTC?

I have been thinking about starting a legitimate PTC site that pays out (Imagine That!) and I was just wondering how you would go about setting one up, and about how much it would cost.  Also about how much bandwidth and space would I need to start out and which host would you recommend? 
I have some unique ideas to try out but I need some help on how to start up.  I would also love to talk with anyone who has their own PTC site.

My hosting is $15/month, which is very reasonable.

My script cost me a good chunk of change, but it's reliable.  Many people now, however, choose to go with the Aurora script, it's cheaper and uses less resources.

But there are other site owners here who can help you as well.

personally i think an easy to edit script is the best bet but don't use the bux script.

I will state for the record that I am 20 years of age and my friend who has some experience in online businesses is 43 years of age.  I understand that there is a high percent of scams on the internet but I would like to create an honest, reputable, online advertising business following the PTC formats catering to both the member and real life businesses. 
I only hope I can prove this through my actions.  My first thought for my site is to allow a no minimum payout for each member's first payout request to build trust with members.  And then continue to payout to every member at a set limit.  I also don't know if I like the idea of two types of memberships (Free and Premium).  I think full membership should be free to all members.
Anyways thats just some of my thoughts.

You still have the point of view of an user...  You'll probably change your mind once you're running this kind of business: that income will surely help you, especially at the beginning...

AuroraGPT 2.0.4 is a total resource HOG. My site is using 4x that of Clicksia which has 10x members as my site.
That is how paccific clicks site used so much load on JJ's server, the script version.

I can't even get in contact with Scott about it, it's really bugging me. It can be something as simple as an non-indexed table to a bad query.
It's a pain in my arse.

I've gone through code and other things for a few days, it's really bugging me.
If scott can't help with that i'm going to just upgrade.

Then i'll have to triple check all my customizations to make sure they work with the script.
