« on: April 03, 2010, 10:06:03 AM »
i rated it (TalkPTC)  5 coz the rules are too strict and so the site is not user  friendly.

TalkPTC is here for the members,  its a discussion forum and we would like to support members in their everlasting challenge to get referals to their sites
Rules can be changed at any time........

are the rules too strict?

which rules would you like to see changed?

Tell us what you think............  ;)

Rules are strict.  But ban is not issued immediately.  So, it's balanced.

5 non-spam posts to post a blog.  Introduction, Referral exchange & referral deal posts are not counted.  So, It will make members to wait.
Regarding banning someone, Talkptc gives more chances.  That was/is good for newbies like me.

Spammers gonna spam at any cost.  These rules not gonna affect them.  Nobody should be compelled to speak.  Let them speak if they like.

But we may try to make  a new member used to the forum.
With 5 posts, he starts to try, get used to, to remember, search boards.
He will spend more time and remember.

Better than just come, start a downline builder and never return, never remember.

About the blogs board: Do someone read it?
Isn´t it a good way to make a spamer start or replies and, who knows, become a non spamer?
And when I delete one spam post, at first, he makes another 5º post. caught.
The forums food is members. Without members, it dies.

If they can't able to post at blog section, they gonna post it anywhere if they are spammers.
If they can able to post and posted at blog section, atleast they searched for that section and posted at the right section.
Members' activity is not in our hand.  They may come back if talkptc helps them.
This forum gives freedom of speech but does not give freedom to not speak for newbies until 5 posts.

. So we need experience and/or statistics.
Maybe our discussion here helps the experienced owners with ideas.

is this hard rule , other forums ask for more
gptforum limits your ability to use pm till you reach some post counts
ems asks for 20 post or more before you can see the downline builder

so why should talkptc change
for me as a member i don't like to see this forum full with spam
cancel the 5 posts rule and next minute you will see million spammer here
what makes talkptc special , is the type and quality for posts
in other forums you can see lots of members getting post counts just by saying congrats

so i don't think the 5 post rule is strict
maybe i'm missing some point
which members can explain to me much better
thanks  :)
