How to delete a thread/post?

Hey, I have tried to delete my topic, but when I tried I got an error message:

You cannot delete your own topics in this board. Check to make sure this topic wasn't just moved to another board.

So, could someone help me with this.

we don't delete threads or posts without a reason
this presents members from cheating on the referral boards

pm me the post/thread and the reason you want it deleted
