Man who resigned from $150,000/year job
« on: March 30, 2017, 02:09:15 PM »
Today I saw a program about a 42 years old man who resigned from his $150,000/year job.

He went with his family to the countryside and took up farm work so that they become self reliant. He has pigs, hens on his farm and grows vegetables on land near his home

Some people do opt to leave the corporate world for a simpler life. Hopefully he and his family are happier and self sufficient.

I have seen that it is not about a "simpler life". It seems to be about "other" life. I have personally seen farms here and to do a good job and earn real $ is NOT easy or simple. One can't even do it alone.
