Online surveys
« on: November 27, 2009, 12:40:23 PM »
Hi, I donot know where to put this or if it is relevant.  I belong to a number online survey panels and they do pay rather well.  If any body else wants to join a panel a very good resource is called Survey Police.  Its free and people rate their  various panels and there are hyperlinks to the sites so one can look around before deciding to join or not. It does help to know if a site has plenty of opportunities for taking surveys and also who can join.  There are many that take International members. Dragonspen

very true, but only for US members. many surveys do not qualify for people from other countries.

Hey there,

I like online survey sites myself and am a member with a few of them. However, I disagree that they are better than PTCs. If I look at my hourly rates at survey sites I am between $3-$4 per hour as you have to also count all the times you get survey invitations, finish the 2 min, unpaid introduction question and than get screened out of the survey.

$3-$4 is something you can also get with PTCs, if you choose some PTCs where it isn't required to have the linked website in the active window, so that you can click links form different PTCs at the same time. If you then recruit some active referrals you will definitively earn more from PTCs than you earn form survey sites.

Cheers,

Xmas

This is the main reason I'm not a member on any survey sites.  I used to do Opinion Outpost but I got tired of not being able to finish ANY of their surveys because after 2 pages all of a sudden I wasn't qualified to take the survey. =\
