It is insane how much snow is in Europe!
« on: February 13, 2012, 03:06:55 PM »
Despite the fact that the media always act surprised when in the summer is hot and in the winter is snowing , realistically speaking , right now in Europe it is insane how much is snowing and it`s not stopping. Many countries are in a state of emergency. In my country the snow is at least 4 meters high (13 feet) in many rural regions, houses are fully covered by snow and many people freezed to death. In some urban regions the snow exceeded 1.5 meters (4.9 feet). Snow removal crews can not face this event.

Beaultiful girls, warm summer and light winters in Brasil.
You still can come to the carnaval, next weekend.

i`m not that much into carnivals. There are beautiful girls here too , quite at every step but i was talking about the snow because i didn`t saw so much snow in one place ever. only imagine from what my grandpa use to tell. i`m sure you all have grandpa stories :)
In more the 150 rural regions people are literally walking on the roof of houses.
In the urban regions people are ignoring the weather conditions and never stopped protesting against the government even at -20 degrees Celsius and if this is not enough in the spring here`s going to be like 100 liters per cubic meter and this only in the urban regions. they don`t know exactly how much water is going to be in villages because it is still blizzarding snow all over and some people frezzed to death in their cars because roads are inaccessible. Right now i`m not so interested in carnivals in Brazil :)

Same in here - the other side of the world in SEA. I'm not regretting a single second that I left Europe few years back for this.
All ice and "snow" I need is in the fridge, next to my beers, and that's how it should be.

Well, here in Denmark, we almost hasnt had any snow this winter, no snow before january and not much. I like that the weather is changing, would rather live here where we both have a winter and a summer, instead of a place where the weather was either hot or cold all the time.

Here in Washinton, we had snow earlier in January, though we might be getting snow again this weekend, though the best place for snow in Washington would probably be in the cascades (especially the passes).
