Beware of Fake Paypal emails
« on: October 30, 2009, 05:59:20 PM »
i received this email today.  it looks very much like a real paypal email.  it even uses my name.

it is not real,  if you receive any email from paypal telling you to login to your account do not click the links in the email.  open your browser and type in paypal.com. even then watch the url to check you are being taken to the paypal website.
if paypal has a message for you it will also be posted in your account

Because I received too. I checked the link at that time and it was authentic.
Meanwhile I was trying to find it but it was deleted permanently from my mailboxes, I think.
