I do not find any reason to say that Alertpay sucks  :typing. Regarding paypal I can say that it really sucks because of the hard and complex verification process. I am having a very hard time with them Duh !.

I say both sucks.

i don't think its reallly paypal doing this,  Looks to me like something forced on thm by  RBI  guidelines

personally i don't believe its that bad,   a lot of sites are run by Indians and this will put an end to a lot of  little kids running sites with illegal paypals,   this means a lot less frozen paypals

The big boys have creditcards so they won't have a problem   :P
Their sites will suffer because the indians probably won't be clicking for  a few cents payouts if they can't use paypal and they will lose advertisers if they can't purchase by paypal

paypal sux so move to alertpay
members will get used to it if and when enough sites change to only using alertpay

the real problems will start when the RBN goes after alertpay too   ;)

as for the other term.......
nobody in their right mind should be spending $500 on a ptc   :o

I think paypal also doing something bad. They open office in India but not followed Indian rules. In India No one from outside  allowed to do Monetary services.
