Your favorite music and artist/band

I look up the posts and topics here, I guess there's something missing. No thread about favorite music and artist/band. So I'll start one here. Let's begin with two simple questions:

• What is your favourite music?
  
• Who is your favourite music artist or band?

There could be more than one kind or answer for every question.

For question #1, I'd like to answer that my favorite music is kind of diverse. I love classics, pop rock, acid jazz, alternative rock or even heavy metal.
For question #2, there are actually a lot, but to mention some of them, dave matthews band, jewel kilcher, killswitch engage, sarah brightman, jamiroquai, deftones and so on.
