English for Vice Admins
« on: August 30, 2010, 01:45:44 AM »
aka banned coz Vice Admin doesn't understand English

i know English is a hard language but it seems particulary hard for certain  'Vice Admins'   :P

i sent this in a PRIVATE message on another forum
Quote
now feel free to ban this account, i don't need it,   its a proxy

i got this reply

Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
banned just like you asked -

English is not my first language but i don't think i asked for a ban,   i said feel free,  thats not quite asking.   :P
Are questions not supposed to  end with a question mark?

btw,  has anybody ever noticed that some forums expect you to read the rules before you even signup?

when i signup to a forum, i read the registration agreement and once i am a member i start by reading the rules
i signed up to that stupid forum with a proxy.  There was nothing in the registration agreement that said  proxies not allowed

after i signed up i went to read the rules and found a proxy wasn't allowed so i wanted to delete my account but that wasn't allowed either

so how do they expect us to stick the signup rules if they don't tell us before we join?
do they have the right to ban us for their own inadequacies?

how many of you read the rules before joining a forum?

I read little by little, as needed, in the due time.

Every member suffer with that. TOS changes is an example.

Edited: Because if I read all at once, I forget all at once... ;D :P

Definitely, a lot on this TOS, this is for scammers not for honest clickers  ;D

No!!!! That's right..... not everything you ask for should have a ?.... Only when you ask someone about anything / any event to get information about it... then only you need a ?
But ask has got another meaning too!!!(i.e. when u ask for a favor / instructions....etc....)
Besides an intelligent human does not require even a language to express his/her feelings , thoughts , ideas etc...... there are just so many ways to express yourself !!!!
And what you express is the thing that matters more than what you say!!!

BTW... why do you need a proxy to register.... Almost everybody on the internet knows that using porxy is not encouraged by most of the sites.... This is a quite general policy...
You don't need to be told about that..... The only thing why some people uses proxy is to do something illegle!!!

But this is a false concept..... Most of them don't know that it doesn't really help to protect your identity anyway..... Cause developers and owners have got brains, too. They know the IP address of all these proxy servers(they are always fixed... mostly located in Germany and USA) and settings used by proxy programmes(yeah they aren't fool either!!!) Even if anybody get successful in registering using a proxy...
it is very easy to detect even afterwards that if a person used proxy or not.... even it is also possible to detect the original IP address(and also MAC address of your computer)

There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio asparagus,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Mmm, just a suggestion:
You have a challenge.
Try not to read the lines this time
but what is written between them.  ;)
