White ?? Must be the north pole....if he finds himself back where he started.....cuz the compass will always show only 1 direction at the poles......no matter where he is....

There is a second place to be, about 1,16 miles from south pole, any point in a circle.
But there are no bear in south pole,
as there are no penguins in north pole.
