Don`t use Blogspot or How i lost my 2 years old blog.
« on: February 13, 2012, 03:17:12 PM »
This happened about 10 months ago. I`m sure some of you here are directly interested.

I didn`t had any problem with my blog, ever. I didn`t even had any new posts for many months and all of the sudden it is marked as spam. I`m still waiting and waiting but my blog is still not restored. Why? How much longer?

This is a quote from blogger forum where i`ve asked for help

I`ve worked, scouted and searched from mid 2008 so that i could create good, real and objective articles that helped the people that are interested, not to get scammed. I`ve worked allot.
Almost a month ago i decided to change the address to a more expressive one, last thing i remember after I`ve change it, is that i couldn`t access it anymore.

They`ve respond:

If your blog has been falsely classified as a spam (hacking, porn) host, we apologise.  Nobody gains, with genuine, non spam Blogger blogs being deleted or locked falsely.  Given the fact that automated spam detection is not yet a perfect science, the Blogger Team is happy to investigate any reports of false positive spam reviews, posted here in the forum.

That being said, before you request an appeal, it's worth describing a few examples of what Blogger regularly removes, as part of its zero tolerance policy to abusive / inappropriate content:

- Affiliate marketing.
- Content created with scripts and programs, rather than by hand.
- Content or links referencing GPT, PTC, PTS, 'Make money from home', 'Make money fast', or other referral-based activities.
- Content scraped from other sources.
- Copyright Infringement.
- Large blogs with multiple, unfocused / unrelated subjects.
- Links to Illegal Downloads / Streaming / Torrents.

They say is not a perfect science but thousands of blogs are classified as spam as i wrote this.

I responded to them , telling them the truth:
from what i remember,... i have a link reffering to one(1) PTC [clixsense] and four(4) GPT [inboxdollar, cashcrate, getpaidto, surveysavy] , no MLM, no MMH, no MMF or any other inappropriate links.
However i might be wrong about the 4 GPT, i know i wanted to rewrite that page so it may be set as an unfinished page, I don`t remember exactly to many months have passed..

I`ve received the verdict after more then 6 months waithing:

i have a link reffering to one(1) PTC [clixsense] and four(4) GPT [inboxdollar, cashcrate,
getpaidto,surveysavy]

That is spam.  And that's the verdict, received recently from Blogger Support.

We're sorry, but "thomoneybag.blogspot.com" cannot be restored.  It was recently confirmed as spam.  Blogger suggests that you read the TOS.

Full discussion is here:http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/blogger/thread?tid=4fd5fbea9deb5bc8&hl=en&fid=4fd5fbea9deb5bc80004b509d1d71b7f

In conclusion don`t use blogspot to promote anithing related to ptc gpt or mmo(make money online) - such as clickbank and if you are already doing this, stop and move to wordpress or anything else because if your blog is suspended be sure it will be deleted. They delete blogs for less , i don`t know why but , maybe for them right now is operation cleanup .

There are many discussions opened on blogger forum regarding this matter and many of the complainants have their blog suspended and categorized as spam when their theme is about gardening or how to make pizza. Some bloggers lost their 5 years old blog because they promoted some e-books.

Blogspot has a lack of staff and they respond very late and not always are good news.

But remember that someone needs to report them.
I know some evidently porn, torrent and ptc blogspots that are online for years.

Before my blog was removed I remember have read some tips on the web about how to hide from the bots.
For one, avoid "click here" and these common spam procedures.

Anyway, my 3  ptc blogs were pure spam, as my site is today.
One of them is still online because I never advertised it. Pure ptc spam.

So, I don't believe much in this robot excuse.

to hide from bots have to create a custom xml site map to tell them to basically go away and not be indexed by search engines.
